Driving Wheel's official taping policy as of March 23, 2011 :

Driving Wheel is a taper friendly band that encourages their fans to audio record their performances for personal, non-commercial, home enjoyment.

Official Taping Policy :

Driving Wheel allows audio taping at almost every live performance. We feel that
each show is unique and that there are some who wish to capture the night's
happenings for posterity or other personal use. Soundboard access and/or power
supplies are only available at the venue's/soundman's discretion, and are not always feasible provisions, so best to bring your own mics and power if you want to record the show. Video recording is only allowed with prior approval (email : drivingwheel@rocketmail.com). When Driving Wheel is not headlining a show we always defer to the taping policy of the headliner or the festival.
All Driving Wheel performances and recordings are the exclusive property of Driving Wheel. All rights reserved. The privileges to record Driving Wheel performances set forth in this policy constitute an express, revocable license. We reserve the right to withdraw our sanction of recording, tape trading, and/or non-commercial digital audio file transfers on a case specific basis or in general, as we deem necessary. No waiver of any copyright or trademark right is intended.

Distribution of authorized Driving Wheel recordings (as above) is permitted,
provided that all exchanges are equal; no money may change hands and no extra media shall be included as a condition of copying a recording. The only acceptable exception to this policy shall be the inclusion of a pre-stamped, self-addressed envelope as part of a "blanks and postage" agreement. No copyrighted material shall ever be distributed via trade, electronically or otherwise. Uploads of Driving Wheel recordings to the Live Music Archive at archive.org are welcomed and encouraged.
